Readers responded to my post last week about "Sopranos" and "The Shield" returning with about a dozen questions about when other shows will be returning. I can't answer every question you asked -- some shows are still in limbo -- but here's a quick calendar of those I do know about, mixed in with the ones I already listed last week, and some for which dates haven't been announced yet.

April 3: "The Shield" returns

April 5: New episode of "The Office"

April 8: "The Sopranos" returns
"Entourage" returns

May 22-23: "American Idol" finale

May 22: "The Lot" premieres

May 24: "So You Think You Can Dance" returns

June 10: "Sopranos" series finale

June 11: "The Closer" returns

June 12: "Rescue Me" returns

June 17: "Big Love" returns

June 25: "Hell's Kitchen" returns

Sept. 30: "Dexter" returns

Shows with unknown return date:
"The Wire"
"Curb Your Enthusiasm"
"Deadwood" (show itself is canceled, but two TV movies are planned, with no dates given)
"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
"Big Brother," likely to return in late June
"Rock Star," has not been renewed or canceled as of yet

Canceled but beloved shows:
"Carnivale"
"Epitafios"
"Rome"

New episode of Heroes on April 23rd
As far as returning shows are concerned, what about Eureka, Kyle XY, and Three Moons over Milford?
Don't forget that Standoff is back on April 6!
You couldn't pay me enough money to watch any episode of "The Shield", which does nothing but glorify police brutality, or "The Sopranos", which glorifies the illegal lives of murderers and thieves. Most of the rest is nothing but dreck and drivel, with few, if any, redeeming attributes. Thank heaven summer is just around the corner........
Sniff... Carnivale. And at best they left us with a WTF moment.
How about The 4400?
What about the final episodes of Stargate SG-1 airing on the SciFi Channel in April?? This has been a tremendous series -- don't leave out the SciFi fans!

Kyle XY is supposed to be coming back June 11 (I read somewhere), but they are running the first season through starting next week (April 2) on ABC Family.
I think that "I Hate Network Television" is one of those insufferable elitist snobs who constantly tells everyone within earshot that they don't watch television. Here is another wild guess - you live alone, are unattractive and read a lot of books designed to make you appear smarter than you really are.
"30 Rock" is also back on 4/5, with a night of Supersized episodes sure to mess up your DVR.
Can't hardly wait for 'The Closer' to return. They have an excellent mix of characters who work in the cases. I hope they don't make any changes. I can, wait for Dexter to return. Only because this is such a unique show that I don't want the producers to be in a hurry just to throw out some mess for their second season. So I will patiently wait for its return.
I have to add one of my favorites, Deadliest Catch, on Discovery. Starting Tuesday April 3!
I am so upset about Rome....sigh another great show to disappear into the tv vaults
Any word on the return of "4400?"
Sarah H: "Standoff" has now been delayed until June, reportedly.
I Hate Network Television: Your loss. "The Shield" and "The Sopranos" are amazing shows.
Can't wait for Deadliest Catch next week plus Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi in June!
I'm looking forward to seeing what "Drive" is all about. "Wonderfalls" made me a Tim Minear fan. And I have my fingers and toes crossed that "Studio 60" and "Veronica Mars" at least come back to finish out their seasons... if not another one.
Mitzi mentioned Stargate SG-1.. that and it's counterpart, Stargate: Atlantis, return with new episodes on April 13th. No word on Eureka or anything else SciFi-channel related, though. They keep pushing back start dates!
Both the "4400", "Monk" & "The Dead Zone" return this summer to USA Network. Hooray!
