I really like the tacky holiday sweater link. I have a feeling I'll wind up on there if anybody got pictures of our last company Christmas party.
My grandmother sent me a bright turquoise sweater with a snowman on it that was covered in fiber optics and lit up. It weighed a ton and was insanely gaudy but I wore it because I love her, and because I was vaguely hoping I'd blind my boss.

I have happily embraced the Ugly Sweater Party idea and am planning mine for December 17th. We are having a "Sweater O'Shame" trophy made and plan on caroling at all our local watering holes. Thank you for the inspired suggestion!
