A lot of "classics" like Cathy, Ziggy, Andy Capp, Broom Hilda, B.C., Frank and Earnest, Momma, Shoe, and Ziggy fall into this category and, IMO, should be phased out in favor of newer fare.

Help us choose a new comic

For Better of For Worse is a wonderful comic that I would love to see here! Anyway, "For Better or for Worse" is a good comic, that would be fine BUT my favorite comic ever, and it is on the available list, is Overboard - check it out! Personally I would love to see Adam, The Duplex, and Tank McNamara also dropped. But your supplier does not offer some of the best comics: Get Fuzzy, Rhymes With Orange, Six Chix, Bizarro, Sally Forth. And you really need to add Mark Fiore to the Editiorial/Political section. Maybe you should look at getting a better supplier! Please, no Cathy, Ziggy, Broomhilda, Shoe, Andy Capp, Wizard of Iz... those are all just dated and ridiculously unfunny. I used to read it every morning with a bowl of cereal before headin off to school, and then discussing it with my mom that night. 20 years later, and we still discuss the intriguing storylines -- but now over e-mail after reading it online. The times have changed, and so has For Better of For Worse. Lynn Johnstone's characters age with real-life progression. Kids getting older, adults entering senior-citizenry, dogs getting arthritis, etc. I want FBorFW in front of as many peoples' eyes, so please consider adding it.

Help us choose a new comic

zits

Help us choose a new comic

Shermans Lagoon. Also the Duplex could go.
I'd vote against Bo Nannas, Ginger Meggs, Pre-Teena, Cathy and Ziggy. Cathy, like Tank McNamara is way too wordy without a humorous payoff.
Pearls Before Swine is very good. One Big Happy, Liberty Meadows, Better or Worse - all fair choices.
Reruns of Fox Trot is a great choice, as would be reruns of Calvin and Hobbes.

Help us choose a new comic

There is a really great new strip on www.gocomics.com called "44 Union Avenue." Wait, the official name of the strip is Dog Eat Doug (my apologies to Doug)!! This is the only strip I make sure I read everyday. It will make you smile, laugh, and shake your head. It has a touch of Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes in it, which was such a wonderful surprise when the Chicago Tribune started running it Monday thru Saturday about a year ago. Now if they would only run it on Sundays too!

Help us choose a new comic

I vote for Luanne.

Help us choose a new comic

"Shoe" is a classic and hard to beat.

Help us choose a new comic

Keep Foxtrot. Replacing three comic strips (Tom the Dancing Bug, Boondocks, and FoxTrot) will enable the new variety to appeal to everyone.

Help us choose a new comic

Red and Rover

Help us choose a new comic

I would like to lobby for Get Fuzzy.
