Shame on the companies running old ads. They get the extra lame bonus factor.

GM...ads like their cars: Cheap and unimaginative.

GoDaddy...please just go.

The rock ad...had a rock's IQ.

CareerBuilder thank you for the gladiator commercial.

The surprise winner was the Robert Goulet spot.

Pre-game: They go to the trouble of getting Gloria Estefan and she doesn't do anything but an introduction in some dumpy outfit? The pre-game pageant was gorgeous but the music...zzzzzzz. Prince...zzzzz. GM...zzzzzzzz.

Snoozer.

The Taco Bell commercial...when the second lion responded with, "Ricardo Montaban!" I just couldn't stop laughing.

The Kevin Federline commercial...you got to love anyone who can make fun of themselves on national television.

The Budweiser commercial...when an axe wielding maniac is worried, you know you're in trouble.

The E-trade commercial...I was really enthralled by the cinematography. The bank robbery scene looked like it could have been a scene from a Hollywood film. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to watch "Heat," when I'm done with this.

The coke commercial with the old man...very funny.

The career builder commercials...especially the one with the gladiator theme. Just downright entertaining.

The sprint commercial...I mean really, what genius, and I do mean genius, thought up the concept of "connectile dysfunction." Absolutely hilarious.

And a HONORABLE MENTION goes to the Snickers commercial. The concept of two men kissing usually turns me off, but at least they got it right this time. Real men don't kiss one another. They may cry when John Wayne gets killed in his movies, hug after a night of drinking, and pat each others butts after scoring a touchdown...but they don't kiss. Thank you snickers...I may even buy a candy bar tomorrow.

Too lame.

Super Bowl ads, second half

The Bud dog one had Clydesdales

Super Bowl ads, second half

The only GOOD ONE was with Orange County Choppers!!!!

Super Bowl ads, second half

The game was pretty good, there were a couple of good ads, but did anyone catch Criminal Minds afterward? How much did they pay Prince? He is not worth it! - Loved the e-trade, Bud and Coke ads. What the devil is godaddy? They never said and that is not smart. Liked Oprah and Dave, hated the Careerbuilder. Liked Sprint and Blockbuster but since I only watch the SuperBowl for the ads (do not care for football), I was disappointed. NOt a lot of creativity anymore it seems. A reporter is on the prowl to find out why Yankees are invading the South and stealing Cheerwine soda. He approaches a van with a family loading the soda in, and asks, "Why are you stealing our Cheerwine and taking it back to New York?" The father answers, in the thickest New York accent you can possibly imagine, "Hey, we don't know nothin' about that. We're from Charlotte."

Blockbuster ad was the best of the night, by a long shot, in my opinion. I liked the Dalmation, GM's fired robot, and the CareerBuilder.com avoiding the seminar. The rest, I thought, were pretty lame.

Super Bowl ads, second half

Lots of different opinions here. FWIW, CareerBuilder is my winner. How could anyone say those were stupid? More importantly to the advertiser, they were practically the only commercials with content directly related to the product. Kinda important when you're spending that much cash, don't you think?

I don't generally watch halftime shows - usually filled with washed up has-beens (Stones) or never-weres (Federline). But Prince? Come on, he rocked the place down. One of the 10 most important artists of the rock era, and he has definitely still got it. Better than the game OR the commercials.

Super Bowl ads, second half

re: Nationwide: Didn't anyone get that K-Fed is not dreaming? he was on top of the world and now he is a fry chef watching one of his old videos reliving "the day." Now I ask you "Are you one of those members of the 'starved for entertainment' masses who WATCHES 'Survivor' and the like ilk?" (Maybe Am'urcan I-DULL" as well?) As far as being related to the product (??) - I would NEVER use a company that touted that kind of idiocy as their "raison d'etre". IF that's what can be expected of them why not just "turn on, tune in and drop out" as well? If their services are anywhere near as convoluted as their ADS they can't be worth a whole lot.

By the way - as to K-fed, he was aptly cast as a fry boy.

All in all, these commercials present a "poor showing" as compared to years past. The "lowest common denominator" keeps getting "lower" all the time (I think it must be about equivalent to a 16 Y/O (probably male) with an average IQ of, what, 50?)

At least the game was somewhat interesting

Super Bowl ads, second half

The commercials were unrealistic, and the K-Fed was a mild chuckler. The Prudential and the Elvis commercials were decent, because they sold the product rather than make the commerical into a big spectacle which is what most commericals during the Super Bowl do.I think that people misunderstood the Emerald Nuts commercial. It was a "Match Game" joke. The real message was supposed to be, "don't let anyone mess with your nuts". This would have been a better slogan(especially after the half time show...fill in the blank),but the FCC is way too conservative,so the advertiser hid the message with Robert Goulet pulling practical jokes in an office.

Super Bowl ads, second half

Can't believe that no jumped on your butt over the Sheryl Crow- watered t-shirt comment given that she is one of the most famous breast cancer survivors in the US.

Super Bowl ads, second half

a;lsdkjvioa;bvioo;asdv;lkadfbviuasdnf:klgjaio;fjvnkl;JBVpiohjglkdfjb;lkjbvaeriom;odfjvo;ina oaerifj adlmv;ojrnva;dfhgba; adfvgl;kjagojao noiadjfvglkfvl;jo;ijvlnav;kldfjv;jdfg;ldfjgl;kj
